We are looking for our partner in Budapest to join a Romanian and English speaking Financial Assistant, who will be providing financial, administrative and clerical support, verify and reconcile AR and AP transactions in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.


  • Applying payments to customer accounts in Access database
  • Clearing customer accounts in a timely manner
  • Handling queries
  • Preparing and processing customer refunds
  • Managing under- and overpayments
  • Receivable collection, reminders to customers
  • Support outsourced accounting with necessary information for month-end closings
  • Handle incoming supplier invoice, prepare for accounting
  • Work with Customer Service Department on customer claims, inquiries
  • Handle cash-on delivery processes in Access database


  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar function
  • You have at least a Bachelor’ degree in economics/accounting
  • You communicate in Romanian (written and verbally) at an upper level
  • You have strong user experience working with Excel, including different functions
  • You have fluency in English or Hungarian
  • You have good administrative experience, attention to details and accuracy
  • You have good interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills
  • You have proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise your own workload
  • You have excellent customer service, customer contact and communication skills
  • You are a great team player
